Window control system uses PEEK better
The Door Control Module (DCM for short) is also called the Door Control Unit (DCU for short). An automotive electronic product for intelligent centralized control of lamps, etc.
The circuit of the door control module is mainly composed of the following parts: power supply circuit, electric window drive circuit, rearview mirror drive circuit, heater drive circuit, central door lock drive circuit, lamp drive circuit, CAN bus interface circuit and button interface circuit etc.
In the DCM control system, in addition to the conventional remote control key and mechanically controlled door locking and unlocking, there is also an "automatic window lift" function. When the driver gets out of the car and finds that the window has not been raised, he does not need to go back to the cab to power up the window. He only needs to press and hold the "lock car" button of the remote control key for more than 3 seconds under the car, and the DCM internal control strategy will be activated. Control the door and window motor to raise the window.
As the window needs to be raised and lowered frequently, the sensitivity of the door and window motor will be reduced after a long time. The control system of DCM needs to be made of a material with high wear resistance, high temperature resistance and higher mechanical strength.
Today there is a material that meets the manufacturing requirements of the DCM control system - PEEK.
The Chinese name of the PEEK material is polyether ether ketone, which was first developed in November 1978, and was later introduced to the market by VictrexPLC and Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) in the early 1980s. It has excellent performance and high mechanical strength. The lifting of the window needs to be made of materials with very high mechanical strength to ensure that the performance can meet the standard; DCM is installed in the cabin, and the working temperature range is -40°C-85°C, which has certain requirements for the high and low temperature resistance of the material. The PEEK material not only meets the standard but also has excellent high and low temperature resistance, and can withstand temperatures of -50°C-260°C+; the wear resistance of PEEK is very superior among special engineering plastics. If it is applied in the DCM control system, I believe that the performance of new energy vehicles in the future will be even better.
